Photos depicting various people dressed in traditional Korean attire are displayed inside the window of a store renting the garments. The wearing of the centuries-old Korean traditional clothing has regained popularity in recent years and can be easily found being worn in Seoul, particularly in districts like Jongno, which houses the Gyeongbokgung Palace -royal palace during the Joseon dynasty- and the traditional Bukchon Hanok Village. While tourists can be found dawning the attire, typically referred to as hanbok, young Koreans and their postings on social media are largely to thank for the increased popularity, which had weaned following the Korean war.
